DALACIN C 600MG contains Clindamycin which belongs to the group of medicines called antibiotics. It fights against bacteria and germs and used in the treatment of severe bacterial infections. It acts by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis which stops bacterial growth and prevents further spread of infection. It is usually reserved for the treatment of serious infections, especially when other antibiotics are not effective and when the bacteria-causing infection are susceptible for clindamycin.
